Hello! My name is Avril. I was born in Burma and raised in America (31 yrs).
I now live in Thailand. I, informally, translate and interpret for other friends and travelers here -- Burmese to English and English to Burmese. I, informally, teach conversational English (speaking and writing at times) to young adult students here in Thailand. I do so as a volunteer while living in Thailand.
I'm also a mother and raising my child to be multi-lingual (English (primary), Burmese, Mandarin Chinese, and Thai). :-)
I have obtained a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work.
I have also worked (paid) as a Burmese to English - English to Burmese interpreter for over 3yrs in medical settings and community health settings.
English lessons will be for conversational language skills. Speaking, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary.
As for certificates of my degrees, I do not have copies of them. The framed copies are in storage somewhere back in the US since I live in Thailand now.
